MECHWARRIOR 2 THEME FOR WINDOWS 95

 Hello, and welcome to the 31st century. I have taken some timeout from the battle  to put together some of my impressions of Mechwarrior 2 for you to enjoy in the comfort and security of your homeport. I hope that the sounds and images I have gathered from my missions will please you. If you wish to contact me in regards to my efforts, either positive or negitive, please do so.  To utilize the files contained in 'Mech.zip' please extract them to your PLUS/THEMES directory or to the directory where you keep your theme files.I have included an assortment of icons which you may use for whatever you wish. Or you may delete them.
 I have also included startup and shutdown logos to inhance the theme. To utilize them you must first rename your LOGO.SYS in your root directory and also your LOGOS.SYS and LOGOW.SYS in your WINDOWS directory. An extra letter or number will do the trick. [I.E. LOGO.SYS could become LOGO2.SYS]. Doing this will allow you to retain your startup and shutdown files if you deside to not use the ones that I have included with the theme.
 Once you have renamed the three files you can move MECHWARRIORLOGO.SYS from your themes directory to your root directory after dropping off the 'MECHWARRIOR' part of the name. Do the same with MECHWARRIORLOGOS.SYS and MECHWARRIORLOGOW.SYS. Then move them [ logos.sys & logow.sys] to your WINDOWS directory. Please be sure that you have renamed your original logo files before moving the files that I have included with the theme. Please note, you will have to restart WIN95 before the new startup and shutdown screens will take effect.
 If it was done correctly, when you start up Windows instead of the clouds you should see the DROP PROCEDURE INITIATED screen and when you 'restart your computer' you should see the EJECT screen. 'Shutting down' the computer should bring up the EJECT and then the SAFE TO SHUT YOUR COMPUTER OFF screens.
